IP bans will be reconsidered on a case-by-case basis if you were running a bot and did not understand the consequences, but typically not for spamming, hacking, or other abuse. OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit I'll copy/paste required logs in a minute. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer! Ok, so I sometimes do stupid things that I know I shouldn't (see above), but I'm not quite dense enough to believe that downloading said "uninstaller" would be a good thing.

When I try to uninstall from the Control Panel, it opens a web page that tells me I need to download the uninstaller. I don't know where it came from since it seems to pre-date the ConduitSearch infection by several days. These seem to be limited to Internet Explorer, but I can't be sure that I don't have something lurking within my other browsers as well.Īlso, and I don't know if this is related or not, but I seem to have something called GorillaPrice on my system. Now the only problem I'm experiencing is that I keep getting pop-ups from. After deleting the downloaded editor, I used MalwareBytes and AdwCleaner and was able to regain control of my browsers. I discovered that my browsers were being hijacked by Conduit Search. This time it worked, but immediately I started having problems with my internet browsers (IE, Chrome, and Firefox - all of which I use in roughly equal measures). I promptly uninstalled it and attempted the download again. Initially I ended up with a download manager instead of the intended program. It started a few days ago when I stupidly downloaded a Terraria editor for my son. I have a problem with pop-ups that I can't seem to get rid of.
